Logistics Coordinator

As a logistics specialist, you will work with a team and help to ensure that goods are stored correctly and sent to the right destination. You also help to ensure that our production is supplied with the right goods. Your area of work is very varied and you will be on the move a lot. Tools such as forklift trucks and lifting aids will support you in your daily work.

What do you do with us as a logistician?

The whole process of your daily work begins with the daily work in the incoming goods department. You will be deployed in all areas and will be on the move between incoming and outgoing goods, in dispatch and also in the warehouse. You will learn how to book incoming items and work in the warehouse with tools such as pallet rollers, pedestrian stackers, forklift trucks and counting scales. You will also attend various courses, such as the forklift driver course, for which you will receive a federally recognized certificate.

Requirements

  • Good grades, high school diploma or equivalent
  • Enjoy working on the computer
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic

Duration of training

Basic vocational training as a logistician takes 3 years

Your training program during the three years will be adapted to the school's curriculum so that you can combine theory and practice. At the end of your apprenticeship, you will be well equipped for the job market with a good education under your belt.
