Logistics Coordinator


Swiss certified logistics coordinators transport, store and distribute goods. You work in storage of service, commercial and production companies, letter and packaging centers, postal delivery, goods distribution centers, as well as stations and terminals.

What Will You Learn about Being a Logistics Coordinator?

Your daily tasks always begin with incoming goods. During your logistics training, you will play an active role in all areas of logistics, switching between the incoming and outgoing goods and dealing with shipping and warehousing. You will learn how to register incoming items and work in the warehouse with pallet trucks, pallet stackers, forklifts, and scales. You also take various courses such as the forklift driver's course and if you pass, you will receive an official license.

Training Duration

The professional basic training for logistics takes three years and finishes with a Swiss Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training.

Your three-year training program will be adapted in line with your school schedule so that you are able to combine the theoretical and practical elements of the course. At the end of your studies, you will be in an ideal position to successfully enter the job market thanks to the skills you have learned during your training.
