In 1993, Christiane Leister took over the company from her husband, Karl Leister, and, with great foresight and entrepreneurial skill, developed it into an international group of companies. Her commitment went far beyond the economic sphere. As a member of the ETH Board, she made a significant contribution to research and science.
We mourn the loss of a pioneer and successful entrepreneur. With Christiane Leister, we lose an inspiring figure who, with visionary strength and a strong drive to shape the future, decisively influenced the Leister Group and to whom our company owes a great deal.
