  • Efficient Heat and Speed Control: The WELDPLAST 605 employs closed-loop control systems for heat and speed, ensuring consistent and precise results in every welding operation.

Training Objectives

The training was designed to allow on-site staff to experience the device hands-on. Participants included members of the landfill's drilling and piping team, under the guidance of Field Operations Manager Camron Dornfeld. It was crucial for the personnel to grasp the nuances of the WELDPLAST 605 to seamlessly integrate the machine into their daily operations.

The training had two main objectives: mastering the digital interface of the WELDPLAST 605 and the Leister Quality Systems (LQS), and successfully performing test welds. With the support of our Leister product specialist Scott O'Malley, a thorough overview of the device’s functions was provided, with a focus on the brushless drive motor.

Achieving High-Quality Sealing Work

Switching from a competitor’s device to the WELDPLAST 605 was a logical step for the drilling and piping company. Since then, multiple Leister extruders are in daily use, ensuring high-quality sealing work.

The introduction of the WELDPLAST 605 by our field service team in North Central Illinois represents a significant shift towards improved practices in the industry. This successful transition highlights the importance of innovative tools for minimizing environmental impact and underscores the landfill’s commitment to leading the way in waste management and environmental protection.
