The Leister Group is a globally active Swiss technology group with headquarters in the canton Obwalden in central Switzerland.

The privately owned Leister Group has grown continuously for decades. It employs around 900 people on three continents. The export share is 98 percent and goes to more than 100 countries. As an experienced and competent partner for customized applications, from concept to mass production, Axetris supplies OEM customers on three continents with MEMS-based gas sensors and micro-optical components. The executive committee operates under the leadership of Christiane Leister, chairman of the board of directors. As a member of the ETH board, Christiane Leister is actively committed to science, along with strong research and innovation in Switzerland, among other mandates.
