The Leister Foundation is committed to upholding its objectives that support art, culture, education, and knowledge.
For several years, the Leister Foundation has been organizing and funding expeditions to Greenland as part of its mission to support education and science. Due to its geographic location and the ongoing effects of climate change, Greenland offers unique conditions for interdisciplinary research projects.
The preservation of our cultural heritage is close to our hearts. Accordingly, we support events and projects related to customs and traditions, folklore, and classical arts. We also contribute to art and book projects, as well as exhibitions on a variety of topics.
Through our activities in education and science, we particularly promote technical interest and the education of young people in Switzerland. We have a strong connection to Central Switzerland, which is why we focus our support on regional cultural events and projects in this area.
