The Seaman Corporation, with headquarters in Wooster, Ohio, has been an established name in the coated textiles industry for over 75 years. Its dedication to sustainability is reflected not only in the quality of its products, but also in its business practices: More than 110 tons of material are recycled every month. An approach that matches Leister’s philosophy perfectly. This is because the Leister Group also believes that durability, efficiency and the responsible use of resources must go hand in hand.

Joint Training for Joint Strength

In January 2025, Scott O’Malley and Maya Innis from Leister met with the XR® Geomembrane team from the Seaman Corporation for a practice-based exchange. The focus was on extensive product demos and training sessions with the UNIDRIVE 500, the WELDPLAST 605 and the tried-and-tested TRIAC ST. Employees from the Roof Systems and Industrial Fabrics divisions were also present. Specific applications were discussed together, experiences were exchanged and the possible practical applications of Leister devices were explained.
