India has been a key market for Leister since 1987. As early as 1990, Leister participated with its own stand at the first national trade fair for the plastics industry, Plast India, which was held in Delhi. Over the years, Leister has greatly expanded its presence throughout India and considerably extended its range of products and services in the country.

Leister Technologies Pvt. Ltd. with its location in Chennai was founded in 2012 as a subsidary of the Swiss Leister Group. With additional sales and service centers in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Delhi, Hyderabad, Calcutta, Mumbai and Pune, Leister is always close at hand.
